The World Heritage City Forum is taking place at Suwon Convention Center in Suwon from September 29 (Thu) – 30 (Fri) and is expected to welcome around 500 delegates.

First launched in September 2021, the World Heritage City Forum serves as an opportunity for networking between the World Heritage City networks centered around Suwon, home to the World Heritage, Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. The forum is participated by those whose work or interests involve World Heritage, Sustainable Tourism, and City Branding.

The central theme of this year’s forum is Sustainable Use of World Heritage Cities. Event delegates will gain insights on sustainable world heritage and local communities; joint development between cities and cultural heritage; and world heritage applied in a number of fields, including fashion, corporate marketing and contents. The World Heritage City Forum is not complete without its prominent speakers and this year welcomes Jae Heon Choi, Professor of Geography and World Heritage Studies at Konkuk University, Scriptwriter Jinyoung Rho, Young Jin Kim, CEO of Tcaikim and many more.
